On the 5th February 2016, Compassion in Action, the ROC Office, and Temple Protocol alongside some DCP members embarked on a mission’s trip to Tafe Agome branch of ACI in the Volta Region. Upon on our arrival we were met by a warm and enthusiastic congregation.
The team presented assorted food items, clothes, shoes, bags, books and a cash donation to the church. Whilst in Tafe Agome we identified a huge infrastructural gap. Despite their challenges their zeal for the work of the Lord was unwavering.
As a follow up, a group of members from the temple protocol put their resources, time and effort together to complete the church building which needed urgent attention. The newly completed church was officially opened on the 9th of April. Present at the occasion was the Chief of Tafe Agome along with his elders and council. He expressed his gratitude firstly to God Almighty, the Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams & Action Chapel for assisting the community.
Our second quarter trip on the 9th April 2016 took us to the Mount Zion Branch of ACI in Akim Oda. Through your kind contributions Compassion in Action, ROC (Resource Operation Centre) and allied departments were able to donate assorted food items, clothes, books and other essentials to the Akim Oda branch.
